My, oh, my! Wouldn't this look fine in the den? Whether we're watching football, basketball, movies or plain TV, more and more broadcasts are coming in widescreen. The letterbox effect on the standard 16x9 television screen just is not quite good enough. This big jewel would shine well & and take up less space than my 52" Hitachi Ultravision. I didnt realize, but that TV is almost 10 years old!

One of these days, unless Congress votes in another extension, we will be forced to move to HDTV. Until then, HDTV will be an opportunity for a better picture. The 1,366x768 resolution would be good for my Home Theater PC, too, since standard TV resolution does not match well with the resolutions provided in the computer world -- but HDTV changes all that!
