Battery Life Log (BattLifeLog)
|
BattLifeLog is a convenient way for you to log the date and time of battery installation and replacement. You can select the battery type
and brand from popup lists, and add a note if appropriate. BattLifeLog will also calculate and display the life of the battery. The history display allows you to add a new record or to jump to an individual record to view all the related data or edit it if appropriate.
BattLifeLog has displays for History by Type and History by Brand. Both
displays have popups where you can choose to display all records (the default)
or restrict the display to a single choice. These are not
"Categories" -- when you switch to another form, you will show
all records.
Tip: Create a record when you put in new batteries. It will default to the current date
and time for both the installation and replacement dates. Next, back up one record and set the date on the record for the batteries you just replaced. The "Calc" button is optional -- BattLifeLog will calculate the battery life when you change to another form, but you can press it to immediately show the life you got out of those old batteries.
BattLifeLog's popup lists for battery type and brand are user-editable.
Just tap on the "^" button to the right of the popup field to jump to
the edit screens. BattLifeLog comes with initial databases for brand and
battery type in order to make your initial experience easier.
