Dream Toy of the Month -
Star Wars Build Your Own Light Saber Kit

With the release of Star Wars Episode III - The Revenge of the Sith DVD, you might think that one of those versions would be my Dream Toy of the Month. Sure, I like the 2-disk widescreen edition and would probably like the 2-disk full-screen edition, but that's not my choice for this month.

This month's Dream Toy is not expensive. In fact, as I write this, Amazon.com even has a big discount sale on it.

Hasbro has brought forth a winner -- a 22 piece kit, with multiple interchangeable pieces, so you can put together many different styles of light saber from the one kit. The kit includes: 1 hilt, 2 blades, 2 emitters, 1 light bulb housing, 3 "crystals", 3 filters, 2 hilt sleeves, 2 caps, 1 adapter, 3 sleeve rings, 2 switches and instructions.

Of course, you may have to buy at least 2 for your family!
